the other day, i caught my teacher staring at me as she walked by my desk. She just smiled, and i gave her a weird look, and looked away from her. Then today, she didn't even talk to me, even though i'm her teacher's assistant. She was talking to the class, and standing diagnally behind me, so i could see her out of the corner of my eye, and i could see that she was looking at me for a few seconds. Why would she act like she's embarrassed, even though she's a teacher, and i'm her assistant? I asked her a question, and she could barely look at me.

Tell her if something is wrong. There's a rumor going on in school saying that one of the guy teachers are looking down girl's shirts when they're working. uh.. shouldn't have brought that up. back to the subject. There might be something wrong with her. i dont know

Well.... there are a few reasonable explanations.
1) You could remind her of something or someone from her past and before that, the mental connection wasn't made. Now that it is, it's awkward for her. (i.e. you look like her father/mother, a kid who used to bully her etc)
2) She knows something you don't and is wondering how to tell you.
3) The other more dangerous explanation is, as the other people have been saying, she has a thing for you.
Now 1) and 2) go with the idea that the weird look you gave her didn't really mean anything because people are people and we can't immediately judge that what you did caused this change.
However, number 3) takes everything into account and sadly, is most likely. If such is the case, please be wary.
No relationship beyond the platonic should be established as long as you are teacher and student, especially if you're a minor. Seek help from someone older if you need to and if you find you like her, then at least wait until a more appropriate time to establish a deeper connection.

Why dont you ask her if you did something wrong. I would definalty bring this up. It makes me a bit worried that a teacher is acting this way. You need to talk to her or be reassigned from being the teachers assistant.

I had a guy teacher do the same thing to me turned out he liked me....but maybe she just wants to watch you to see how you are doing, like if you need help or something....hope that helps :)

Why dont you ask her if you did something wrong. I am sure she jumped to conclusions and thought that you where weirded out by her or something.
