Okay sorry about putting this here but i need opinions
Im a guy.
Over the summer i found out that one of my friends (girl) likes the way i look
I get back to school and she is more on me than before. I really didnt think to much of it. Then three of us are hanging out. She starts resting her arm on my knee for some reason. Then a little later i touch her shoulder and she flat out hugs me.
I brushed it off because she always was grabbing my shoulders before and hugs or wrestles with a few other guys. And shes always joke hitting everyone.
Then a week later she stops doing it as much. Now she barely does it at all. But every lunch weve got together she makes sure to sit near me. Shes always looking for me.
So whats really going on. Are these signals

are you dumb? the girl has the hots for you. better analyze your feelings for her before someone gets hurt. If you like her go for it. if you feel she's just a friend for you better tell her early so she does'nt get her hopes up and if you do tell her break it to her gently.

It's purely physical apparently and quite honestly - that won't last. I recommend getting to know her minus the touchy feely stuff. Then see where it goes. Until then - yeah. Remember friendship is a solid foundation. Build that first.

now the problem is do you like her too
if not , then thats a big problem its hard hurting a friend
if she stopped doing it , at one point or another maybe you made a comment or an action that made her feel you dont want her and that she wants to keep her pride and dignity,its hard admitting that you really really like someone
i also like my friend, but i dont hold his hand or make any gestures, sometimes i send text messages just to ask him about stupid things, we talk a lot on the phone but in person i dont talk to him, im to shy, at one point i felt he did not like me, so my ego was hurt and i started backing away, women hate rejection too, and if you like her, let her know, but if you dont like her, act normal, she will get the message and leave you alone

she likes you but you probly didnt show more affection back like she was showing you and she doesnt wanna get hurt by you cause she cares for you so much.if you like her give her a test and act like you like someone else and if she starts to run away from the scene run after her,grab her and kiss her.hold her in your arms and tell her shes the one for you.awwww! but if you dont like her like that than dont do anything to lead her on or play with her emotions.

Of course they are signals!! Joke hitting is entirely different than putting her hand on your knee and hugging you. This girl is into you, babe.
