why is it that badly spelt, lame questions about odd s*xual practices attract 30 plus answers but good questions worth answering only get a few?

Me and my best friend have been best friends for three years. I used to live in Joburg South Africa which is where she is living but moved to America a year and a half ago. When I was living there we were attached at the hips always together, never went anywheres with out the other and we told each other EVERYTHING. We stay in contact through email and calling each other but lately I hardly hear from her and when I do it's just a few lines. She's always saying she's busy and tired and today I found out from another friend that she has a boyfriend that she has been with for a while and she still hasn't told me about him. I've been going through some rough times and I have told her about them but she seems to care less. Should I confront her and tell her how I feel or carry on like everythings ok and not mess up what relationship we have left?

Please no stupid remarks.

I asked a question a few days ago (which most people attacked me personally just for asking) asking whether or not you thought blacks deserve reparations. Surprising, a lot of you were against reparations for blacks. Many sited that there are no longer any "living" slaves, your ancestors were not slave owners (probably becuase they could not afford slaves),others stated that the Africans were the ones that sold their own into slavery and are more responsible.

What about the remaining psychological damage that has been passed down from generation to generation. What about the "Willie Lynch" theory that was use to control slaves. Those traits are still manifest in African Americans today. What about when slavery was "finally" abolished and we had to deal with the angry whites who did not want us to have our freedom and to a certain extent the racism is still alive today making it hard for blacks to succeed (poor education, poor housing,broken homes, unfair judicial systems). Well?

Ok on of my best friends has a crush on this guy, and every one she told has told her the same things, he's UGLY, PERVERTED, STUPID and WEIRD!! and i mean i dont know that cuz i dont know him, but yah i talked to one of my other firends and she said that he's the four things i listed and she's also gone to see our consoular, cuz he was acting perverted around her. I have a teenage daughter who cuts herself w/ a razor. I have recently found out that others in her group of "friends" do the same thing everyday. As part of what, I dont know yet. It always seems that as much as you want to avoid drama it follows you closer than your own shadow. It pisses me off because i want to be the bigger person and avoid arguments, confrontations etc. because i wanna be mature about this. I know that i'm not in high school anymore therefore i want my actions to show it but it's just so hard sometimes to be the bigger person. No matter how much i try giving in and just going down to her level always seems so much easier. A person can only shrug off and avoid so much before they reach their breaking point. My bf's ex is the biggest pain in the a$$. She runs her mouth more than a motor and i guess she loves the attention but i can only take so much of her crap...ughh she's so freaking immature and she's 21, well she sure doesn't act like it. Any words of encouragement?
