I'm 18 and a friend of mine said that because of the way i carry myself i could pass for 23. Do you think she's telling the truth or just flattering me?

She could be telling you the truth, it is hard for us to tell without seeing you in action.

If this "friend" is the 15 yr. old you asked about in a previous question I would say it is just flattery. At 18 years of age you should have friends your own age, slightly younger or slightly older. You are of an age to be thinking of what to do with the rest of your life, while a fifteen yr. old most probably wants to look cool hangin' with you.

It doesn't really matter. Please enjoy your age. You'll be older sooner than you realize and wish you'd have spent time enjoying yourself when you could. I know that seems to be something that adults say, but I'm 27. Teens wasn't all that long ago for me, and had I known what THIS would be like, I sure woulda had more teenaged fun while I was there.

it could be true, i have a neighbor who is 16 and looks 20. you may just have very mature looks but be careful with that, cuz it may not always be a good thing.
