Since this is the case, you will end up regretting it. Everyone should care, but i dont make the rules, so my opinion doesnt mean a darn thing. oh well, since know one cares, i'll just end my pathetic little existance.

I am 21, and I am very compassionate. I care about people I don't know, and always try to help out when I can. Some people have said I have a heart of gold and a free ear.

I care about everyone despite what the media says. The most caring people I know are in that spectrum and highly involved in charities and volunteer work. You only hear about the people who don't care out of the millions and millions who do. It's like a plane crash. You don't hear about all of the successful landings.

16 ,i like people even if i just met them and if they need help and i can help, i will. but you do have to be wary, i almost got into alot of trouble because i like and trust people i just met. so you do have to be careful. but i like animals too, i just cant help it, I'm a little too soft hearted, doesn't matter if its an animal or human, I've tried to tone it down before but it's in my nature and nothing i try can will tone it down a bit. =) but suicide is not the answer you may not think anyone cares but we do actually, i may not have ever met you but it will still bother me if you or anyone takes their life. but in this case i think you're just having a self-pity moment or you are just being dramatic to see what people will say. but i really hope its the last 2 and not the first. and that is all i have to say.

Sounds like a generalization (not that I haven't said the same about all people). I don't think you can limit it to one age group though. I'm 22 and I consider myself to be far from apathetic about other people.
