Everyone is important because God has a purpose for everyone. It is up to each individual to find that purpose.
I am important to my husband, children, friends, family, and myself. To my husband because we make each other whole. To my children because, I am their mother and they need love, guidiance, and some one to nurture them. To my friends, because I am some one the can turn to for advise and some one they can confide in. To my family, because I am some one the can depend on in good times and bad. To myself,I am a giving , loving person and I am happy with who I am.
Mostly I am important because God made me and gave me a reason to be here.

Gee, have you never seen that old movie "It's a Wonderful Life?" That'll show you right there that everyone is important in ways that they can never imagine. You have touched and changed other people's lives in ways that you could never recognize while its happening.

Sure, there will be people that you know you are important to, and there will isolated times in your life when you may not think you matter to anybody. But don't lose sight of the big picture and you'll realize that those little isolated moments (however long they may last) are exactly that - isolated moments in the overall scheme of things.

Remember the story of the king who asked that a jeweler make him a beautiful ring. He wanted something inscribed on the inside of the ring that would always be true, something he could look at and read no matter what situation he was in, and take comfort from. So the jeweler worked hard, and finally thought of the perfect thing to inscribe in the ring. It said, "This too, shall pass." When the king was having trouble in his kingdom, he could read the ring and know that he'd get through it. When he was doing well and everything was going wonderfully, he could read it and know that he shouldn't get to feeling too proud of himself because things could go bad again.

So sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug. You deal with it and go on. grin.

Yes and no. I am important to myself and to the people around me. I also can leave wrinkles like a stone in water can to this earth with my actions.

On the other hand I am not important at all. For example, if you see us in the whole universe, no-one is important. Earth can explode and the rest will just go on.

I don't care too much if I am important for anybody, or not... that is the truth, if you ask me. Didn't send in applications for being born... didn't explicitly ask for that..... :))

I am happy simply to exist as God put me here for some reason... and I kind of know what my role is and why I was born, so.. I am not yearning for "importance" so much!
I mean, definitely not that kind of importance that other people, some in more control or power, or with more talents could give me.
Everything is absolutely subjective and relative that comes from direction of society. One cannot always just follow their ups and downs and changable opinions - you will go nuts if you do that.

I know it sounds a bit primal, but I just love to exist... and yes, I exist to love. So simple.

I am very important. My name suggests how important I am.I am everything in this world and simultaneously nothing at all. It's important for people like me to maintain a balance between beliefs, faiths and our own human intellects. So if we have to carry out these tasks doesn't that make us important?
Good luck to you.

We're all put here for a reason. Some people will be doctors, lawyers, engineers, web designers, etc. As for me, I've been placed on this earth to rap and write, and act. People who claim their life is meaningless haven't expended the effort to search for their talents.
