It drives me crazy when people say they love their boyfriend/girlfriend/huband/wife more than anyone in the world. A partner can (and usually does) leave you at any time. How can this person, who was a stranger until recently, suddenly mean more to a person than their own flesh and blood? Especially their mother, who has (usually) loved and cared for them all their life? I am a passionate person who has been madly in love and living with a partner (and soulmate) for years, but I could never say he was more important than my own family. As important, maybe, but more important, no.

I am told quite often im very good looking. im not bragging but ive been told that. Ive been working out hard at the gym and i am in terrific shape. i notice that a lot of girls stare at me or smile. ive been getting lots of double glances. even from girls at the night club lots of stares. im shy. should i take the chance and go talk to these girls..are these signs they like me?

Dilemma! help please...?
So there is this guy that really likes me. He does exactly what he says hes going to do, like, i'll call you tonight, and he calls me, and when we do, do something he leaves me a message after the fact telling me he had a great time. but he makes racial comments, doesn't like the same music, and he calls himself a redneck, which is completely opposite from me. He does make me laught but..... Then there is this other guy. He seems really sweet, i haven't spent a lot of time with him, he lives farther away. like two hours, which isn't a big deal. I talk to him everyday online or the phone, but the doctor says he is sick. He has a problem with his spine and he won't live over 35 years old. and he has done pot.. but he has been asked to quit by his doctor, smoking and pot, which he has done. He is sort of like me, he's nice, shy, quiet, laid back. He brings out the kid in me, which i like. I'm not sure what one to choose. They both have cons, and pros. Which one will be the best person?

My parents told me these are the reasons i'm going there

1. I dont study hard in US (where I am right now)
2. I keep messing around here
3. I ask for money
4. I won't fix my attitude
5. I make my parents angry of everything i do


please dont tell me to 'stop asking for money' or 'study harder' because they once tried sending me there last year and i'm actually going. i'm only 13 in 8th grade and please help i cant put up with this i want to know how i could stop them if there is anything i could say back and things i shouldnt do!!

Okay, so me this other girl used to be VERY good friends...until she started dating my brother. She has been very unfaithful to boyfriends in the past, and this time seems to be no different, even though she promised me she wouldn't do that to my brother...Since then, I've had about 5 people tell me that she has been holding hands and hugging with her ex. I confronted her about it, and of course, she denied it, and my brother believes her. So her and I are in a huge fight now, possibly a friendship tarnished beyond repair. Everyone is just telling me to stay out of it, but I feel protective since it's my brother. Can someone just give me some advice as to what to do...I would REALLY appreciate it.

Ok here goes. I went out with my fiance and my single friend last weekend. later in the night my friend came up to me telling me that she felt uncomfortable because my fiance was hitting on her (ex: when are we going to get naked? When are we going to have a threesome?) I guess i am just looking for some to tell me if this is just him being a jerk or is he serious about wanting to get with her.

Ok does anyone think that my boyfriend should be on person.com rating girls in front of me?? 3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. He could still have feelings for me but why won't he just ASK ME OUT again? Not ask me to “hangout” but I mean why won't he ask me to be his gf again, to really date again? I mean he's 26, he's graduating from grad school, gonna get his MBA degree & he's strating a job in June. It seems like he wants to settle down but why won't he just ask me out? What the hell is his deal?

It seems that I never do anything right with my mother. If my brother cleans the kitchen she'll say "Good job." If I clean it she'll say "Why didn't you clean the dining room too?" If something is missing, I am the first one she accuses; and no, I am not a kleptomaniac and I do not have a history of stealing. If a room is messy, I am blamed for it. If my father is stressed, I am blamed for him being upset. If my brothers are getting bad grades, she blames me for not taking the time to help them, and mind you, I have an older sister too. If I get bad grades, she blames me for not spending enough time studying. My brother and I are both chubby, but she always makes fat jokes at me, not him. I have always been the "black sheep" in the family, I admit, but I am not a bad kid. What's a girl to do?
