I have tried dancing and stripping but it makes me feel stupid.

Plan a surprise 'kidnap'. I did this for my husband and he was so thrilled. Book a room at a local hotel, perferrably one with an indoor pool and nice dining room.
If at all possible, come up with some excuse why you need the car that day and drive your husband to work. Then pack your suitcases, hide them in the trunk. When you pick your husband up from work, drive to the hotel and tell him you're 'kidnapping' him for the night!

I'm sure your husband appreciates your efforts. Don't be so hard on yourself. It's terrific that you try to please him. It is very easy to get caught up in seeking only your pleasure but when you seek the best interests of your partner then it returns to you doubly.
Have you tried handcuffing him and blind folding him? It isn't anything serious like some of the die hard S&M'rs but some men enjoy that. While you have him in such a vulnerable position you can give him a massage w/some hot oil and do assorted other fun things that you might normally be too shy to do. With him blindfolded ; it can help you not to be embarassed.
Put on some sexy music and some sexy nighty and have at it. When you are ready, release him and enjoy how ravenously agressive he will be.

I am with everyone else on the motel thing I just kinda like having them work a lil bit for it like plan your trip a couple days ahead and then leave lil clues around where he can find them you know like one leads him to another and then that one leads him to another you can hide them around the house with some lil sexy notes and he will get into the game of what will the next one say then on the last one find a safe place to hide it away from the house if you have two cars to lead him to the hotel room where you can go when he leaves the house to get the last clue and beat him to the room with your sexy candels and teddy or however you want to meet him,

Put candles on the bathroom counter top. Put a chair in the bathroom for him to sit on. Then put his feet in a large bowl or tub of warm water. Wash his feet and massage his calves. You should be scantily clad. Then he can return the favor with some fresh warm water for you. Then go to the bed for an oil rubdown (keep the air warm because an oil covered body gets cold!). He'll enjoy doing you even more than you doing him!

rent a room at a nice motel/hotel... buy candles and a new nightee, and get some scented oil... have a Ball!
