i have had this best friend for a while, (who i am recently trying to get rid of) who has asked me to do the talent show with her. she's a horrible singer,and i believe im decent. how do i break it to her that i dont want to do the talent show with her?

Theres this girl who is a year older than me, but that doesnt matter. I like her and we've been friendly to each other for a while. The problem is is that my friends always make fun of her because shes kinda chubby, but i dont care and i go along with them so that they dont think theres something going on. SO i end up making fun of her in front of my friends even though I really dont want to and actually want to be together with her but I also dont want my friends to poke fun at me like the last time I went out with someone they didnt exactly like. ANd the last time she ended up being not only fat, but an idiot so my friends use that against me and say that they were always right. Remember...these are guy friends so not that its serious or anything and we often laugh about it, but I dont know how to give it to them.

My father past away over 8 years ago and my mom has been living with me every since.
I have been married and divorced and during this time she was living with me and my husband. Now I am 37 years old and she is still living with me but I feel now as if she is treating me like a child especially since I am no longer married. I would like to know the best way(tactful way) to let her know that I need my space now. I have 2 kids(boy and girl) who needs their own room but being a single parent now that is very difficult when I am not only providing for her but for myself and my kids. I have 5 other siblings but they don't want her living with them either. If anyone can help me or give me some direction I would appreciate it. She is retired and does not work and she has high blood pressure nad diabetes so I want to be careful on how I handle things with her. she lived with my 4 th older brother and his wife for less then 3 months and his wife put her out so she is difficult to love with.

He grew up in Shiremanstown, PA , but moved away in 1987 or 1988. I had been in touch with him at one point, but lost total contact. His dad was a preacher when I knew him. We were such good friends as kids, and I would love to know what he is up to now that we are adults. Anybody know him?

Okay, there is this boy I like. I asked him out last year (eighth grade) but he said no. He didn't just reject me flat out we became friends and even went out for pizza. Now we're sort of casual friends, we talk at school but that's it. I always see him staring at me and sometimes I catch his eye and smile back. He's usualy the one to break eye contact. We've talked enough that I know his dog's names, his brother's names, even how he spends Christmas. As you probably know the world of teen dating is very shallow. I don't to date him for two weeks and than break up. I'm getting sick of waiting for him to ask me out. I don't want to ask him out again because of what happened last time. No others guys in my grade are interested in me so making him jealous is out. He's a really nice guy, and I mainly like him for his personality. I'm 15 and I'm in ninth grade. He's the same age as me. I'm just getting tired of this suitation and I need advice. Any suggestions?

my boyfriend of a yearand half broke up with me in nov. we were having communication issues etc. However, when we broke up we said I love you to each other. Then out of the blue i get a letter this past week, asking how i am and that he misses me. However, he states that he doesn't want me to take him back because he enjoys being single. But then he mentions that he misses and thinks about me everyday. He tells me to give him a call. I thought it was a closure letter so I didnt. Three days letter he calls my phone 2x, thursday he leaves a message to call him, friday he calls twice hanging up after one ring. I fingally decide to call, but i get his mom, he eventually calls me back four hours later and leaves a message. It was sat. night so i didnt return his call. I call the next day but he was out with friends. I left a message, but it has been two days and i havent heard from him. What is going on? I am so confused, i want to call but i know i shouldnt. Census Bureau figures for 2004 -- which are the most recent -- there are 36.7 million mothers of minor children in the United States. About one-third of them, 10.8 million, are stay-at-home moms.
According to an article penned by Al Neuharth, the founder of USA Today, in its May 11, 2006, edition, "Salary.com compensation experts estimate that stay-at-home moms work an average of 91.6 hours a week." That's more than double the number of hours the average office worker puts in. He went on to say, "That should be worth $134,121 annually."
He quoted the compensation analysts as figuring the lowest-paying parts of a mother's job are "housekeeper, laundry machine operator and janitor. Higher-paying categories include computer operator, facilities manager, psychologist and CEO." With a 91.6-hour work week, 52 weeks a year, it works out to be $28.16 an hour.
It should go without saying that a mother's love is priceless, so tell that grandson of yours that $28.16 an hour is a real bargain.

man, i reallllllly like this guy. he's a year older than me tho but i dated one that age a few months ago (welllllz) and we are soo effin close. we are REALLY good friends. we were playing truth or dare and he asked me if i liked someone. I said yea, he in 8th grade. he was like "do i know him??" i said "you know him ALOT" i was like dropping hints but that didnt work.
