Theres this girl who is a year older than me, but that doesnt matter. I like her and we've been friendly to each other for a while. The problem is is that my friends always make fun of her because shes kinda chubby, but i dont care and i go along with them so that they dont think theres something going on. SO i end up making fun of her in front of my friends even though I really dont want to and actually want to be together with her but I also dont want my friends to poke fun at me like the last time I went out with someone they didnt exactly like. ANd the last time she ended up being not only fat, but an idiot so my friends use that against me and say that they were always right. Remember...these are guy friends so not that its serious or anything and we often laugh about it, but I dont know how to give it to them.

yeah i obviously dont like her primarily for her physical features although she is cute. I like her cuz we always have stuff to talk bout and have fun hanging out.

Good friends are friends for life no matter what. So what if they give you a hard time....you have to ask yourself, "is it worth it?" If you really like the girl stop trying to hurt her or she will not think you are serious when you do get the nerve to ask her out.
I give my friends hell when they do something similar but its o.k. cause that's the way we are. We learn not to take each other seriously. besides ONE time does not equal ALWAYS right, unless of course you never try again, then your friends have a 100 percent track record.

Well if you like this girl it shouldn't really matter what your friends think. If they do make fun of you just tell them that you really like her, and you'd appreciate it if they didn't make fun of her. You need to leanr to be an effing man and stand up for yourself and the people you love, don't let your friends influence you to ruin other potential relationships with people whose company you enjoy. Once you stand up to your friends, ask this girl out! I'm so sick of guys just rejecting girls that they like, or pretending not to like them based on what their friends may say. I have a friend who that happens to a lot, I hate it, I can tell that guys like her, but they're afraid to admit it because they think their friends will pick on them. So please, be a man, and do the right thing.

If you really like her then do what you feel but you also need to consider her feelings too... Don't talk about her behind her back then smile in her face. It is going to hurt her and you when it comes to the light... Just be honest with her your friends and yourself... Let everyone know where you stand and what you want ... Then again your friends are your friends. Sometimes they know you better than you know yourself... Just listen to their warnings but make your own decisions. You are the one who has to live with the choice you made.

Next time just fake anger and tell em like, "actually guys, its not funny, and I like this girl so I will appreciate it if you don't make fun of her anymore" and like walk away all dramatically. I'm sure they will be sorry next time and say like, "we wont make fun of her" or something....

Ok you have to first see if it not infatuation. like what are her good qualities. Then if you really like her then it shouldnt matter what her friends think. they wont totally desert you if there truley are your friends. just tell them who cares if they laugh just tell them that you dont care. if she even likes you anymore after you made fun of her.

do you think your hot and smart? try aiming higher, if so.... if you don't think so then stick with her..... and tell your friends to go smoke happy plant, and they will see her through different eyes.. lol..jk... but if she doesnt have the most smokin hot bod, but she has a great personalitty then i say 4 get your friends,,, just tare it up... and have fun.

if you like her, try it out. if your friends give you crap for it, tell them she's actually kind of cool and see if they come around. if they only disapprove because she's kinda chubby, they are lame friends. now if she too is a moron, don't bother.
