i desperately need advice so i am hoping someone can help. i have been going out with my bf for 6 yrs and we desperately want to get married - we were hoping to do so next friday. however unfortunately for us we belong to different ethnic backgrounds. i am a muslim and he is asian... very different.

when i told my family, they arranged for me to marry this very rich guy who i DO NOT like. but they have set it up so that i am 'engaged' to him. they wont take no for an answer and on top of that it gets more complicated.

my father is very violent and has threatened to kill my partner and i know he will make my mother's life a living hell. however my mum wont put her foot down and divorce him because she wants to live off his income...

so now i am stuck. i either keep my family happy and ensure that mum and my little brother/sister have a dad (screwed up as he is) or marry the love of my life this friday and stuff up the life of my mum and the little ones.

Desperately need advice :(

My brother is in need of a kidney. When I found out I told him and my sister-in-law that he could have mine. Now a lot of people are making a big deal about it...like telling me...are you sure?....why dont you wait and see if your older brothers will do it, who are in other states at this time, I dont see what the big deal is....If it were your brother, sister, mom, dad, uncle, aunt , any family member wouldnt you do it?

Me and my best friend are best friends since 4ever!! My best friend has a boyfriend. One day we played truth or dare, she asked me if who is my crush, i told her. Then one day i heard the news that she and her bf broke up with each other she didn't tell me wat da reason is. One time i saw her with my crush, they are having fun with each other. She doesnt flirt back, but when im witht hem both, i cringe up, i just hate them together, i ruin my own day when nothing bad has happened, she just flirts with him.

The woman bartender works nightly at the bar next to our business. She is a widow...lost her husband a couple of years ago. I'm considered very attractive...in my midfifties, and she's the same age/overweight too. She brings "home cooked meals" to my husband frequently...everyone sees this and its caused some embarrassment for me. A few days ago she brought in some "slop" for him & gave him a rather long hug before she left to tend bar. We've been married 25 years and I'm trying to understand this all. This widow tells me"I don't have Nobody to cook for anymore." then smiles. She is not attractive at all. I don't consider her a threat, but would like to say the right words for her, to make her back off. My kids are perplexed by her also.
