I would like to meet an awesome guy. I don't know why I always meet someone who can't keep a job, been married more than once, has kids or lives with his parents. I am 23 have a college education, independent, stable job. I don't know why I just can't find someone who is the same in return. Anyone have any suggestion where to meet a great guy? Why do I attract guys with luggage?

I'll be turning 18 soon...it's senior year, so college is coming up soon as well... and I'm worried about my mother... she's always been neurotic and overprotective, and I know she's going to have trouble letting go... especially since I'm the firstborn... how can I explain things to her so she can get through it easier?

I don't want to disrupt our 3 year olds school year, so I want to stick around at least until June of 2007. What can I do in the meantime to make sure that I have myself together mentally, financially, etc?

I also plan to talk to an attorney, but I would like some advice/suggestions from the yahoo answers community.

BTW - In terms of working things out, we tried counseling (2 separate times), books, moments of kindness, etc. and nothing has helped so far.

We broke up many times throughout our year and a half relationship because of his arguing. He will love me for days at a time then he will despise me and start arguing with me. If I ask him a question he will add to it and become explosive. He will tell me that he doesn't want to be with me and say things to me that can kill a person i.e. if he lived under the same roof he would blow his braiins out. Then days will go by and he will say hes sorry, apologizing, how he doesn't want to loose me, and how he was the one who was wrong. But then it all happens again. We are both 29 and im afraid that if I go back again it will never change and the heartache will go on forever.
