i think the better question is, why do some people LET others take advantage of them?
but to answer your question, i believe that like machines, humans tend to have different defects. defects in the ones that take advantage and the ones that are being taken advantage of.
more than likely the person taking advantage of people, most likely has manipulator traits and knows how to use them. the target is like prey, they are mostly kind individuals that feel that if they do a 'good' deed for someone, they will eventually recieve in return. while the rest of these targets are merely too shy and naive to speak up for themselves. we all fall into these categories at one point or another in our lives, knowingly and unknowingly. it is our job to modify these behaviors once they are recognized, but this seldomly gets done, thus the perpetuation of people taking advantage of others and vice versa.

Human weakness. When they see legs like the one shown with your name, men go crazy. Then women will take advantage.

when someone is being raised, the surrounding in their life ake them the way they are. people that were abused, or had drug/alcohol problems grow up as victims. and people that are victimizers have this internal radar that can seek those victims out.
