Lacking the political will to make conscious, rapid, drastic changes, AMERICANS WILL BE SUBJECT TO MOTHER NATURE'S ADJUSTMENTS; She did not negotiate with the Mayor of New Orleans; nor will She negotiate the American Way of Life when Saudi Arabia's Ghawar field collapses of its own accord.

It started out raining this morning and then it stopped and
the sun tried once to come out. It is dark again and
now thundering and here comes the rain again. I am
getting tired of these summer days here, not to mention
hurricane season. Time to move but where to?

I live near the nuclear power plant in Salem, New Jersey and I see that big cloud of steam coming from the stack and wonder if it's radioactive, and if not, why not?
It is steam coming from the water that cools the fuel rods isn't it?

Yep, it looks as if the western commode is going to give way to the ole hole in the ground squat and push system that uses up far less water.

On average you produce 75 pound of the foul smelling stuff and 130 gallons of urine and 4,000 gallons to flush it all away.

Prior to the 1850's Americans did use an earth friendly system. It consisted of a seat placed over a container filled with dry earth. After use, more dry earth was piled into the container. Instead of throwing away the waste in the container, farmers put it to use in agricultural fields as compost.

Now we wouldn't think of considering using it for fertilizer.

Yep, big changes are in the wind -- and I do mean that literally because the average sanitary smelling public toilet may give way to a hole in the ground.

We often hear that clean drinking water in third world countries is a big issue, and that organizations are trying to help them.
How do they?

How do you get clean water from contaminated water, anyways? A Biology teacher that I know said that one day she and her class took out ALL impurities from a glass of contatminated water, but it smelled and was yellow. So how do you get clean water?

...if you knew it was saving your neighbor over $300 per month on his ENERGY BILL?

(before answering) VIEW THE VIDEO:
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2007/07/28/acosta.nj.windmill.fight.cnn

Isn't this one of the solutions to our ENERGY problems we're all looking for?

Perhaps there's some noise associated with the Windmill, but would you begrudge your neighbor from having this?
Or, would you look into have one of your own installed?

Could this be (one of) America's energy-solutions?

When a person with silicon breast implants dies, and they are buried, do their fake boobs just stay in the ground. And also, If a person is cremated, do they have to remove them do to air pollution concerns.

If a person does have fake boobs, shouldn't they be removed at the funeral home and be disposed of as industrial waste?

If we tallied up all the water we have stored, outside the water cycle, in the millions of places we hold it, dams, tanks, in toilets, car radiators, refrigerators, pipes, most of the products in our supermarkets, hot water systems, etc etc, the list would be huge. How much water in total would there be in these places? (how much water is in Coke cans at the moment?)

And, hypotheticaly, if all this water was returned to the water cycle, would it have any impact on the worlds current water crisis?
