ok, its where all of my grandmother's flowers are. its kinda inbetween all of the flowers, (sitting down) there is a bird's nest next to my window, and i can see that there aren't any other birds there. my grandmother and I think that all of it's brothers and sisters left, and it's the one that couldn't fly or something. its kinda just walking around the patch of flowers, cleaning itself and stuff. :) im not sure what to do, should i give it anything? or should i do something else? hurry! i dont want anything bad to happen to the little fella. :D

There is no-one in the nest, the bird is by itself, a.k.a. no mom, no dad near.

Let it go. It's a fledgling - it has left the nest and will learn to fly soon. If it seems injured, call a wildlife rehabilitator (or animal cotnrol - they'll find one). If you keep it, it will die - only a pro can successfully save an injured bird.

If it has feathers then it is a fledgling and belongs out of the nest and will live on ground for a few days until learns to fly. Parents will take care of it. Will not matter if you have touched it. If the parents are making a fuss they want you away from it as they see you as a predator. If it has no feathers look in the other nest and see if it looks the same and put in that one. If not then can make a nest out of cool whip bowl and punch small holes in bottom for drainage and line with tissue and tack up near the two nests. The parents will respond to the cries and take care of. Good luck.

As far as I understand it's still in the nest? Does it have adult feathers? If so, it can most likely fly soon. It's hard to say if the nest has been there all along or fallen down from the rooth, or something. The first thing you should do is to identify its species, so, if necessary, you can give it proper attention.

Do NOT take care of it. It is a wild animal. It is normal and natural to see a cute little baby birdie and have the urge to help it...but it's really not the best thing for the bird, and it's not the best thing for you.
Birds have to be able to live and die naturally. Getting your scent on the bird may make the mother abandone it if/when she comes back. Also, if you keep cats away, a mother kitty may not be able to get a meal for her baby kittens.
It's best to let it be and let nature takes it's course.

They've left the nest and this one is reluctant to fly. Don't bother it, it will take off on it's own.. Just make sure a kitty doesn't snack on it before it does.

oh you have to take care of him. the mother probably thru it out of the nest for some reason...they do that sometimes. give him some birdseed and take care of him until he can fly. I did the same thing for a lil bird I found.
