The technology exist, why aren't we using it? I'm not an eco freak, but I don't want my scions to grow up in a world where mother nature is on crack.

I recently learned a lot about how bad both plastic and paper bags that they give away at grocery stores are for the enviroment. Lots of stores now encourage their customers to bring their own bags. What does everyone else think?

Considering that it takes energy to make a new car, even a hybrid, when is it more efficient to buy a hybrid vs. keeping an older car until it dies of natural causes. Monetary cost is not the primary factor here.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fight global warming? Post it here. Thanks!

( also, if you can find any good websites, too)

I can't find anywhere that will accept Brother ink cartridges for recycling, only brands like Lexmark.

I had a great idea and I just wanted some feedback for it. Do you think it is plausible or even possible to create new jobs and better energy by putting people to work turning turbines manually for money? I keep hearing things about the growing number of unemployed people in America (and around the world) and it just seemed like we could kill two birds with one stone. Tell me what you think.

India is located at a perfect location and has the most perfect weather than Why are we not taking advantage of it?
India is surrounded by oceans, meaning coastlines, where its most windy, so why don't we have Wind Turbines to produce Electricity?
India is one of the countries that experiences long summers, and most sunny days, then why don't we have Solar Panels to produce electricity?
These technologies are much better than burning coals to produce electricity, coal burning releases carbon dioxide which is a major cause global warming.
Where as Wind and Solar Energy Technology are clearn energy souces. We have these technology available to us, then Why not use it at a larger scale?

Dont goats eat a lot of stuff that cows dont, and so doesn't making cow milk take up more environmental resources because you have to grow specialty crops to feed them?
