We need to clear-cutting entire sections of woods to put in developments and replace only a few saplings. All construction must be entered into only after an environmental impact study has been done and a plan to replace what was removed! We need to stop killing the Rain Forests! We need to get the alternative fuels into mainstream Earth! We need to clean up all factory outputs. We need to recycle. This all must be on a global basis or we are not going to get a handle on the problem!!! Good Question!!!

People can make sure that there desertification is stopped or prevented. (Desertification is caused when plants and forage are cut down and the land becomes so dry that water is no longer able to be soaked into the ground- thus causing erosion and a desert- like condition to occur)
If desertification was prevented, plants would be able to grow and water would be able to be soaked into the ground, making plants healthy and green.
The less pollution in the world- in the soils and the water- would also help keep the plants healthy and green.
Water is the main staple though that plants need to have in order to be healthy.

ok...Some people are quite lazy!! We can make our planet more green by..Recyclying, u could get something like a broken play car and think, well thats junk, well it sometimes is and sometimes isn't if it isn't then paint it give it new wheels and others things maybe, and if u had a milk or coke bottle or something put them all outside on ur deck or something and put them in a big box or something else..Planting more plants and looking after them, native plants atleast...Using paper wisely, so dont do one little line on a piece of paper then throw it away try to use the back of paper aswell...If only us humans could work together on making the planet more GREEN!!!

plant trees and turn off the TV and get outside more and cook on the grill it's not just good food that way but it's fun,use less water when you really don't need it like washing the dishes, make sure there is a lot of dishes and wash them by hand or a full dish washer, less soap , wash things out by hand if you can and hang them out side to dry on the line just the little things can help and go a long way

use a spray can of green paint...

sorry I couldn't resist that one....

We all have our opinions and our beleifs in what we will, should or are going to do ...

and others have theirs...

which is right which is wrong?

live your life so that you can be happy with it and don't just but a subscription to some wildlife fund to make you feel like you have contributed - yes I went out with a girl who did this and complained she didn't have enough money for her kids.... but she felt she had done the right thing....my opinion was tat she was sadly mistaken and her kids will probably resent her for that (she could have put the money to good use - even though it wass a small amount to me but not really to her - she had an old gas guzzling car, a shitty smelly rented house and always complained of having no money...)

Stop EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING that is harming the planet.
And stop it right now.
Would we?
If we found out that ,in order to save the planet all we have to do is stop the wars:stop driving:stop smoking cigarettes and some other basic things but we had to do it in a twenty four hour period and we would have to do it collectively as one world, could we?

I reject this whole concept of doing anything "green". Look, life evolved on this planet they way it has because it is natrual for it to do so. We spend enormous amounts of effort saving species of vaious creatures. I ask, why? Why should we save any species that cannot adapt to environmental pressures? Millions of species of animals have come and gone before the first man ever existed. Extinction is natures way of elimination.

We, the mamals of the earth, are now the highest life form on the planet. There were giant dinosaurs before us but they could not adapt to rapid changes in the environment. So nature simply crossed them off the list.

Smart, warm blooded mamals took over and we have ruled ever since. Granted very large brains that are capable of great feats we are no longer at the mercy of environmental change. We can survive the coldest winters and the hottest summers thanks to our technology. Technology is man's natural persuit. Other species must adapt to us or perish. It is nature's way.

Just as squirrels gather nuts or beavers build dams we build cities, farms, roads spaceships etc because it is natural for us to do so. It flies in the face of all logic and natural history to believe we are not supposed to persue our destiny while all other, lesser creatures do. It is probably natures plan that we figure out how to expand out onto other planets, too.

We were not given such great intellect and abilities just to squat shivering in a cave because we don't want to impact the environment. Of course it would be foolish to completely destroy that which we need to live on. But believe me it is just as stupid not to use the resources that nature provided for us.

How do we live green? We do what we do because it is what nature intended us to do. Technology is a blessing not a curse.

Well, I suppose that I, for one, could stop flushing my used motor oil down my toilet. Maybe I will start doing this just as soon as I no longer have to take it up the tailpipe every other year, for the auto emissions tests for my cars.

Econazis are such losers. Get a life!

bring our own bags when shopping, buy recycled (100% post consumer waste most preferably), and locally farmed organic produce
