its good but should be mixed at least 50/50 wih sand or something else ,
The best is the compost made by worms ,as many tests have proved.
and you get them by mulching.
just ask the trees they have been making their own soil for billions of years and should know something.a tree in it own life time produces all it own soil by the leaves it discards.so we copy this and improve on it by putting even more organic waste on the ground .
MULCH
cut down the weeds before they produce seeds and leave them where they fall, they will cover the ground and put even more organic matter on top,you can use saw dust, leaves green or dry,and when you plant make a little space and plant in the mulch.this is the easiest quickest and by far most benificial way(for the quality of you soil)to prepare the land for planting
the top part of the soil where the topsoil is being produced houses a world or microbiotic life.
Mulch is organic material green or dry that covers the ground, the thicker the better the composting process will turn it in to black topsoil
an exelent mulch is forgotten or old bales of whatever ,straw or hay or alphalfa
the humidity is preserved underneath and promotes the devellopment of worms(their exists no better compost than their excrements)and a variety of micro biotic life which together with the mulch produce more topsoil.
the mulch also keeps the ground temperature even and guards against the impact of the rain ,which would other wise brings salt to the surfave if on unprotected land
Mulch also prevents the soil from drying out because of the sun and, lay it open to wind erosian.
and it turn out the lights for any weeds that want to come up
do not use chemicals because the water will wash them into the ground and if enough people did that, you would be guilty of helping to contaminate subteranean water suplies that other people could be pumping up to drink
PERMACULTURE
Permaculture is a world recognised earth friendly movement and tends to include people that practice the concept and are active in the field.
the Permaculture designers manual by Bill Mollison, which cost about 40 dollars.

The amazing that about processed bat guano is that even though it's stunningly high in nitrogen, it's practically odorless.
Because of the numerous benefits it offers plants, ease of use and ability to be stored long time in a variety of climates; it is considered the world's best fertilizer.
Some of the best distributors of bat guano can't sell their product in the U.S. -- because they are based in Cuba and economic embargo includes them.
Bat guano is also considered environmentally friendly, as it has a high dissolve rate when coming into contact with various aspects of the local watershed (creeks, rivers, lakes, etc.). It's also obviously organic and not harmful to animals.

It's excellent, but only if properly composed and balanced with carbon sources. Compost the poop along with lots of vegetable matter (weeds, kitchen scraps, etc). Otherwise it might burn the plants.

I like Rabbit, as you can put it on directly, without burning the plants.
A mix of Manure is best, but there are other fertilizers that can take its place.

if you are not going to eat the vegetables that you will plan, it is enviormental good
people may have parasite eggs in their poops, so if you use that to fertilize the vegetables, then you eat the vegetables raw, you might get infected

Earthworm pee is supposed to be the best thing you can get. You have to keep a wormery with a drip-out base. Once you've started it up, and if you feed them with kitchen waste, earthworms are supposed to be relatively trouble-free.

no not really. i'm from the south and we always used chicken poop. just don't over do it because it will burn your plants. i would add it to the soil before planting and give it a good stir or till. then water and then plant. good luck!
