I live with common sense and use moderate workable solutions that don't cost me to much time or money. I think that sensible. Do you?

I have a 1977 associated degree in auto mechanics & have worked in fact keeping projects. After hearing of electric Toyoto Rav EVs, i could not believe they are not on the road. I want to keep data on the perfomance of an electric vehicle to used to promote or inform manufactor of possible problems. I would expect to be given various coniditions or mileage for the testing of the electric vehcile. I am very good at keeping notes & elaborating on prroblems, checking the system as it is driven, checking for possible problems a 'normal' driver might encounter, keeping track of costs. I want to be the driver for such manufartors or companies.

I know i have few people on my side in this fight to help save america from liberization, but how can people help to stop america and the world from being blinded by the global warming myth. Our liberal politicians are after your money not your environment, take Algor for instance. I can disprove global warming with many facts

1. Though global warming seems real at times our tiny little gas powered cars have no effect on our entire earth whatsoever.

2. Mars and the rest of the galaxy are getting hotter as well, hmmm no cars there.

3. What cause the small ice ages in our planet.

4. The weather varies all over the world at different times and places.

5. Our environment is not in our control as you can see by many of the natural disasters.

So even though many of you may dislike me for this, what can those on my side to do help prevent the insaine methods and actions the lawmakers are thinking about taking.

There is no solid evidence that backs it up.
So belive what you want.
I wouldn't mind it to be 1 to 2 degrees hotter anyways doesn't effect polar bears living.
Want polar bears to survive stop visiting them in the zoo and leave them alone!

For the rest of this week, I would like everyone to be consciously aware everytime they go shopping to try to reduce plastic bag usage. For small items, put them in your purse or pocket. Shopping at more than one store, put the items in one bag only. For the real enthusiastics, bring your own bag. Everyone respond with how many bags you saved from waste this week. It all adds up.

I heard the new energy saving lightbulbs contain a small amount of mercury. If broken what is the risk to your house? I also heard (unable to verify) that a homeowner dropped a quantity of them on the floor and had to pay $2,000-$3,000
for decontamination. I'd like to use them but I'm a little wary

With all the focus on alternative fuels, natural gas is a very good solution. Most of the natural gas in the US is domestically produced here, and can take a big bite out of our dependence on foriegn oil. I drive over 600 miles a week in my Honda GX (NGV), and I pay around 2$ a gallon for fuel.

I need a few facts about global warming for a school thing. My friends have these two:
"if everyone in the world plants a tree in their garden, it 'outdoes' global warming"
and
"Over 'X number' of bulbs are consumed each year. If we all switched to energy efficient ones we would save..."
