I am doing an egg drop project for school and I have most of my design built.
I just wanted to know some suggestions of materials that absorb energy well-besides bubble wrap.
No effence but I think everyone in my class is using bubblewrap and I only want to use it as a last resort.
I am brain freezing and I can't think of any.
Please help.

Politicians can spout off about global warming till their blue in the face but they never offer a good alternative to fossil fuels. Let's prove that the people of this country are smarter than they are. Give me a recommendation for an energy plan that is affordable, clean and plentiful. Is coal the way to go now that emmisions can be controlled? What about fuel-cells? Can we make solar power affordable? Give me your thoughts.
