This is cynical but I think we'll start exporting it to countries that can't defend themselves like Africa, if we already have not done so.

When we run out of expensive landfills, there will be little choice but to renew, reuse, and recycle a lot more! Trash now being placed in landfills can be used to generate electricity, as is done already in some European countries.

1) A laser? Gee, great way to get rid of a body. Just kidding but it is a little ridiculus. Something like that would be an industrial product not a consumer one.

2) How about volcanos? Lava or magma (whatever) will incinerate it.

they will burn it. right now they are developing this thing so that anyone can buy it, and it is kind of like a laser and it burns trash, and you can just do it in your backyard.

so i guess if they are going to get it for home use, theu have it for industrial use.

i dont know this for a fact, but just from my opinion, (and it could be wrong im only 14 years old) would that cause air pollution? all the smoke flying around coming from burned garbage?

If the past is any indicator we will simply back-fill-level and refill, not a great solution but with the general public resistance to recycling and the waste giants refusing to improve their efforts this will continue.

my preference would be space, but that will take a long time to come around. Maybe it will go to Antartica. The last thing that might happen woul be the government requesting that we volunteer land( our giant yards for instance) as space to recycle stuff.

Much of it is going in the ocean now. Plastic bottles wash up on the remotest islands.
