Which is better Gas or electric?

I want a new lawn mower, Should I buy gas or electric.

I have a large yard!!!!

Electric Lawn mowers are great on energy and efficent as well. No matter what size your lawn, you dont have to worry about running out of gas. Sure you have to use electricity which in turn comes from coal and creates emissions but not as much as buying gas.

Get electric because the gas prices are high and if u go electric your just going to spend a few pennies per charge. if u go with the gas lawn mower there would also be a chance of gas spillage plus i dont think u would want to smell the terrible exhaust while mowing. So electric is the way to go!

Electric is great, they are quiet and efficient but they are just not practical for small yards. Also, I don't think that the electric ones will give you the horse power you need to cut the grass after you come back from a long week end (or in my case studying for finals). Grass has an unfortunate habit of growing long and thick.

There are a number of very efficient, high output, electric boilers on the market, but, I'm afraid, gas still wins from an economy point of view.

For a large yard, definitely gas. You will have nothing but trouble with power supply cables if you go with an electric one. It's very impractical.

It is much safer for the environment and probably a lot less noisy. There is significantly less pollution that can help contribute to global warming.
