I am considering it, since I have been a nightclub dj for 15 years. I never finished college, but I played on the college radio station while I was there.

i think he was wrong in what he said, but it was a stupid comment not seemingly aimed toward black people, but the whole woman's sports community overall. and at the comference, why didn't the white girl on the team get to say anything?
i just think this was something that was really taken too far, and treated like he called them the n word or something.

I read on Howard's website that Artie is leaving. Is it because Howard pissed him off or because he's burnt out?

IF THERE IS A BETTER CATEGORY FOR THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I really enjoy Digg.com but their podcast Diggnation is a joke. I want a podcast that talks about stories like on Digg.com without the f words and drunkinness. I don't want one that is biased either-like Democracy Now.

I was just wondering today about the commercials on the radio stations. So I'd appriciate some opinions from ordinary people and from those who work in the radio broadcasting industry. I was driving today, and listening to my favourite radio station. Then the commercials started, so I turned to another radio station, there were commercials too, I turned to another one, and more commercials, I turned to some pop music station that I don't even listen to, and guess what, more commercials!!!! So my question is, do all radio stations in the country have a set time that they all turn to commercials and bore us to death with them!? That can't be just a coincidence that all the radio stations of my radio have commercials at the same time!!!! At the same time they all claim to have more commercial free music than any other radio station. If so why do they have as many as the other ones!??

What do you guys think about all this. Is this a conspiracy or something?!

I heard that Howard Stern still gets lawsuits for what he says and does on his satellite radio show, and just yesterday some radio host in trouble for some joke they said about Condalisa Rice.
i remember Howard Stern saying he would have more freedom on what he could say when he takes his show to Satellite radio. what's your take on this?

Now it seems it is the same as the AM we tried to get rid of. People talking over the beginning & ends of songs, none stop chatter. I'm suprised they don't put commercials between tracks on CD's now.

First of all, the ONLY reason i have XM is to listen to the Opie and Anthony show. Whether a fan or not, what is being done to them, and radio hosts alike, is a shame. An embarrasment to our society.

Here's what other's have to say:

"O&A had a homeless gentlemen on their "pay service" XM show on Weds, the person maybe some off color remarks about having sex with Condoleezza Rice and Laura Bush... Now they are under fire for something that they DIDNT even say. XM has confirmed today that O&A have been suspended for 30 days, and other sources say they have been 'unofficially' fired."

"The attack on free speech has gone far enough. First, its FCC regulated "free" radio hosts being fired for what they were paid to do. But, now unregulated pay services are sucumbing to pressure from special interest group's attacking speech they don't like. This is where we draw the line in the sand."

I pay to listen to this because they cannot say anything on free radio, now they take this away too, unbelievable. I will have to cancel my paid service. I am sick of this politically correct bs!
