Yes, Howard does has more freedom of use in terms of "colorful" language--The FCC has no say over obscenity on satellite radio, but people are still going to get upset over controversial/defamatory topics, hence the trouble.

Howard Stern has not been sued since leaving CBS. Which he won by the way. O&A got suspended for the same reason Imus got canned. NO LISTENERS. XM is just using the comments as an excuse to get rid of them. We will see if they are back on in 30 days. Don't forget, making nasty comments about goverment officials is pretty stupid when your company is depending on the government to let you merge with Sirius. This could be XM's way of apologizing. Who knows.

He does have a lot more freedom on satellite. Nothing is censored or bleeped. Satellite is a pay service like cable, so there is no more reason to fine or sue Sirius or Howard Stern than there is HBO or a show like The Sopranos.

in case you get it, don't get a form of little plug and play radios for the vehicle. purchase a clean radio for the vehicle. easily, in case you using too a techniques remote from the place you may regularly be listening to it, you will finally end up having to discover a clean radio station to music the plug and play unit to. some channels you're able to ought to apply do not are available in too nicely. as quickly as I had it, i did not like it. I have been given rid of it final December. Oh and forget approximately having it to your domicile. you would be spending hours attempting to get the antenna in a solid place to get reception, kinda like the previous style television antenna's. They(Sirius) performed frequently junk songs on the hip-hop/rap channels. i substitute into particularly plenty caught with listening to channel a million or 9. those have been the two channels that performed any good music. the communicate channels at the instant are not commercial loose. merely the music channels are. the value of the subscription is approximately 12.ninety 5 a month. i understand Sirius use to have deals in case you acquire a a million year subscript. or greater. in case you have the money, that should be a greater useful deal. additionally, lots of the music channels have cussing allowed on them. in case you're in a vehicle with youthful ones or somebody you do not elect to be concern to that language then you definately will ought to discover some secure channels that don't enable undesirable words, there are some. i take advantage of my iPod in my vehicle and alter between that and the radio(terrestrial) desire that helps. solid success alongside with your selection!

These people simply love to cause trouble, get attention, say outrageous things but look what happened to Imus! Freedom? Most are vulgar, have nothing between their ears to begin with & well, it is just to get people riled up is all...I honestly prefer NPR!

It is a little more freedom, they can cuss anyway. Makes us wonder if we really do have freedom of speech in this country.
