It is my only source for news weather and sports. I have a TV, but lament my Dish bill each month because I don't watch it unless i rent a movie. Radio provides something that TV does not and that is the listeners' imaginations. TV provides nothing thought-provoking, an overabundance of information that is glamorized far beyond reality and a painfully dull list of a thousand options. Satellite radio, the equivalent to cable tv, is terrific because of the lack of commercials and the looser censorship "rules". Plus, the most valuable thing in our pockets is our mobile phone which is, after all, a radio. Hallowed by thy Radio.
