Rock and Pop

For the most part popular alternative/rock concerts I been too , the headliner usually plays no longer than 90-100 minutes. (usually 1hr 15 min) why is that? (ex. linkin park, nelly furtado, fall out boy, green day, korn, etc) ALSO i noticed a lot of PUNK bands limit to 1 hour and few minutes (ex. mxpx, sugarcult, the used).

Is against the law or something? I always wondered this. (exception like metallica or dave matthews where play 2hrs+). and why do concerts have opening bands. cant it be just THEM and thats it? lol.

I am going on a road trip in about 3 weeks going to star college out west and I would love to burn some CD`s . I am going to the one state that has always felt like home to me and would like to burn a cd about going home. I am looking for the for 10 songs to make a CD. It doesnt have to be one style..country, pop, rock, rap..whatever its all open. Thanks.

most of the mainstream bands seem to take their sound and style from Blink 182. It seems they all sound the same. I hope the day will comeback when we have tons of different bands with different sounds.

I'm seeing this guy that totally belongs in the late 60s.

He knows about so many bands and all these kinds of stories, and I feel some what lower, because I don't have much knowledge about it.

I'd like to know some psychedelic bands to look up and listen to, and the best songs.

So I was listening to an old Elvis record, when all of a sudden his ghost flew out of the record player and started chasing me around the room! Everytime I tried to slow down he tried to suffocate me with his ghost fat. Someone please help me! PLEASE! I am too young to die. I am on the verge of tears right now!
