I also like the Clash and Ramones. Also the Sex Pistols, Iggy & The Stooges, The Jam, The Cramps, Ian Dury, Roky Erickson, Buzzcocks, Roky Erickson (his group the Thirteenth Floor Elevators had one of the very first punk like songs, "You're Gonna Miss Me" in 1966), Richard Hell, Magazine, Generation X, Gang of Four, and the Damned..

The MC5 and the Stooges really started it all back in the late 60's early 70's. The New York Dolls picked up where they left off, and the rest is history as they say!

I liked the Clash & the Ramones. I also liked Joan Jett. I used to like Green Day's music from the 90's.
