most of the mainstream bands seem to take their sound and style from Blink 182. It seems they all sound the same. I hope the day will comeback when we have tons of different bands with different sounds.

I agree. You can't really distinguish between some songs and genres nowadays. New songs will have old beats or just be sung by someone different. Even the movies aren't original anymore as they are just continuations of other movies or remakes too.

I can't wait until we have people who actually want to be original. It's not the artists fault though. People bought it 10 years ago, so why not redo it? The same people will buy it again.

I wish they took their sound and style from Blink 182, then it would be tolerable, but still pathetic for ripping them off. Most music out now has some depressed singer moaning about his mommy and daddy issues. If a band came out in the past few years, they are Creed/Staind/mixed with the same old concept of how uncool it is to be cool.
--Chicago-- Your choice of bands does not apply to this. They each have distinct sounds. Most of them have been around for at least ten years, or have even been broken up for 5 years. Not a valid argument.
