I'm sorry, but Lil Wayne is overrated beyond belief. The only things I will say are that the guy can spit beats off fast and he can make some ill metaphors. So that's half of the rap game. Being able to spit dope rhymes but still maintaining a fresh beat.

Now what Lil Wayne should improve on is putting some actual MEANING into his lyrics. I know all yall gotta agree that some of his **** is wack. "I ask my momma if I can get a teardrop tattoo"...wtf?

But seriously, Lil Wayne does have SKILL. He just needs to refine it. He can be a threat if he put meaning into his words and focused on social issues.

Do you feel like you should be able to explain why you like a rapper? Or do you feel like that's being a nerd about it, you should be free to like whatever grabs your ear and not have people challenge you?

our music is different from any other reigion we dont copy no body we created our own so y do people hate us so much so we have snap music its jsut dance music we dont walk around down here calling fabo and d4l the best group ever we just dance to their music in the club. so our music aint alot of metaphores big deal we do our own thing and we still have great rappers who dont tdo the snap music like ludacris bunb 8-ball and mjgand i know most of ya'll wont like this but ima say it anyway cause truth is he must be doing something right to have jay-z and krs-ones respect t.i. something is being done right int he south like it or not so we got soulja boi and yea he sucks he dont say hes teh best rapper alive he just makes feel good music like every artist in the south its about feel-good music

I was walking to the water fountain, and the 'clerks' in the lunchroom were singing Rapper's Delight. I came in and started doing that second verse that no one knows.("now what you hear is not a test...") and they were real angry at me for knowing it. Saying things like "thats our hip hop, not your hip hop. your hip hop is wack."

so my question is does a generation have any special entitlement to their music because of when it was released?

Just because you rap doesn't make you gangster. And just because you're gangster doesn't mean you can rap.

Don't you agree?

RHH artists are guaranteed to say some off the wall stuff at one point or another that when they say it, it makes u think; ***** please.......so who do u think made the biggest "***** please" statement of 2007..i'll list a few of my top candidates;

1.)Plies: "Im from the south my n*gga, we dont learn no grammar"

2.)Birdman: "Wayne is bigger than Tupac, Jay-z & Biggie"

3.)Dr. Dre: "Detox will definitely be out THIS year"

4.)50: "I wont release another solo album if i get outsold by Kanye".........c'mon doggie, we knew you werent serious

5.)Lil Wayne: "Talk to me like you're talkin to Martin Luther King or Malcolm X"

6.)Wycleaf Jean (speaking about T.I.):
""And for me, I believe in one sense he's a prophet,".....im not even gonna put the quote comparing him speaking to that of Malcolm X.

any '***** please' quotes/comments u got from RHH artists, post them up, or choose from one i got selected
