Don't you hate all these people who think they know about rap and hip hop.. they dont understand that rap is something you do and hip hop is something you live...
For example lil jon and sulja boy NOT hip hop
They are a disgrace to the hip hop community ... It's cool to listen to them if you like that ishhh , nothing against them Make the money.

How old are you? You must be under 20 because i see you know nothing about the diferences bertween hip hop and rap... Ok.. bow wow... Not Hip hop!!! what is wrong with you.. maybe 10 percent of what is mainstream is hip hop the rest is pop or rap.. you need to take some classes, go pick up some Ol school KRS, DMC, albums... Learn your stuff!!

and to the Guy "E" i dont matter if lil jon had been producing since he was 2 yrs old, it dont mean he is or ever was hip hop... Like i said, i am not saying they dont got skill at what they do , but learn to separate the two.. and he is not hip hop.

just because a radio station say it's playing the best of hip hop and r7b doenst mean it does, like for example most so called r&b isnt R&B , i hardly hear and rhythm and Most def. Not any Blues in ... some BS people like to call

Lil Jon is a bad *** producer dude and does not Always produce "crunk" music... soulja boy is for the younger crowd. if you dont like them then dont listen to them. if you were a 15 y/o girl i bet you'ld thing soulja boy was some good stuff

do some research man, lil john got his start as a producer and just cashed in on the whole "Crunk craze" so you my friend do not know hip hop. hip hop is set to influence more people than just you.

Rap is rap. Rhyming words! Bubble Gum gangster music played on the radio for all you to memorize and sing along too while some old fool in some office gets paid.

Hip Hop is a way of life. The music is more poetic and based on lifes lessons and our own greatness and self respect. Most of the time its not catchy and hardly ever played on the radio. When was the last time KRS ONE Redman Keith Murray and so on were played in heavy rotation on the radio??

Rap is for thugs such as Lil Wayne, Young Buck, Pastor Troy, and etc. hip hop is for people who are mainstream such as Bow Wow, Soulja Boi, T.I. and others. Learn your facts before you try to say something you obviously know nothing about.
