our music is different from any other reigion we dont copy no body we created our own so y do people hate us so much so we have snap music its jsut dance music we dont walk around down here calling fabo and d4l the best group ever we just dance to their music in the club. so our music aint alot of metaphores big deal we do our own thing and we still have great rappers who dont tdo the snap music like ludacris bunb 8-ball and mjgand i know most of ya'll wont like this but ima say it anyway cause truth is he must be doing something right to have jay-z and krs-ones respect t.i. something is being done right int he south like it or not so we got soulja boi and yea he sucks he dont say hes teh best rapper alive he just makes feel good music like every artist in the south its about feel-good music

The South has the HIGHEST incidents of poverty. There is a "Southern Poverty Law Center" which exists to protect the rights of the poor. That's how bad it is. I've never heard of a Northern Poverty Center. Look at ANY map of poverty and see. So, who wants to be around a bunch of poor asses?
Then, there's the lowlife scumbag aspect of Southern Living where Duck DyNASTY Christian Taliban fckers think it's "normal" to look like you're deer hunting all day. Don't forget the doe piss!
Then, the poor race relations in the South are known worldwide. Then, let's get to the educational standard. You can count backwards, how appropriate, from Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, all the way until you finally get out of the South around 22 or 23. Always on the bottom. The poorest, meanest, DUMBEST...and then, let's get into the religious zealotry. Do you want to live in a place like Iran? Come to the South. The southern Baptists will hook you right up! The cross burning, hate mongering, double-mouth talking fools are everywhere!

Probably because the South came along, rap meant something more than just snap or club music. Back in the 90s, the lyrics actually had meanign talking about the struggle. Today, they're just about clubbin and pimpin. And, Jay-Z is from NYC.

That's funny. I have lived in the north AND south and have never met a person in either place that "hated" the other. Sounds like you're generalizing and stereotyping the problem. Are you sure it is not just a hip-hop thing? (I'm only asking, I certainly don't know!) Regardless, it is silly and immature to hate a region of diverse and varied people.

I don't. I lived in Atlanta for a couple years. The people were the most liberal of all the South.Everyone I met was open about racism as opposed to other cities and states. Music-wise, we didt have rap etc. so I'm not in a position to judge. Over time, all music evolves. Enjoy your time.

um... every area has its own music seen... like in down town st.louis its hard rap.. i mean look at all the big time rappers who have come from there.. but city-states just outside of there dont really listen to rap much like my area its rock, rb, and alternative.. and in other areas it something totally different like emo or hip hop couse thats what they listen to in winsville(place where those two boys where from.. one was kidnapped 4 years ago and one was missing for acouple of days til they found him and the other boy was with him two.. this was around 1yr ago) they like hip hop emo and rap
