the list could go on and on. The one band that I have never seen impersonators or tribute bands of are the Carpenters. I am wondering if anyone has ever heard of a live tribute act to the Carpenters.

i hear this song sometimes on a show, or a commercial. its a woman singing, "do you feel like I feel? do you feel like I do?" At least that is what I think she is singing. its very cool and moody.

It was by Anita Cochran i think, it was a "duet" with Conway Twitty. but he never actually sang it, they pieced together words from his other songs to create him singing this. I'd heard about it when it first came out and have been curious to hear it. Anyone know what I am talking about and can name the song and/or where i can find it? thanks

for postive hip hop micheal frenti...so my question is...
why do people hype mainstream rap? like even kanye and jay-z and the new nas( the best of the bunch) and ahhhhh, cam'ron, lil' wayne, chingy, etc. WHYYYYYYYY!!!
not only that, that is the reason that most people diss hip-hop/rap because that is the ONLY rap/hip-hop they hear...
SO... why aren't these other artist getting the love? Just like the good rock artist that get pushed aside for bad emo s**** and stuff the media rolls out like playdough for kids to copy. Like a fad. To sell. Image. buy this if you like this band, buy that if you like Britney or this rap artist.
does anyone get what I am saying?

I was just wondering if there's any bluegrass fans out there. I grew up listening to Bill Monroe though I have listen to Rhonda Vincent, Flatt & Skruggs, Ricky Scaggs, but, is Alison Krause considered bluegrass or was she in her earlier years.. Is there any groups or solo artists that are pretty good.. let me know I'm willing to listen to some newer stuff. But, used to the traditional artists... Thanks in advance... I go through phases of listening to a certain band for awhile and then move on to someone else. I don't get tired of the band so to speak, I just get cravings for certain band's music. Like now I've been listening to Megadeth and Jimi Hendrix constantly for about 2 weeks. Does anyone else out their go through the same type thing?

I hear all this good dance/rave/techno music in clubs movies and sometimes just comercials (not as much). I host alot of parties with alot of different types of music. I lack good rave music that will shake the ground and get people to jump up and down.

I like bass and fading fading, singing is kinda annoying.

I already know:
-Infected mushroom and as far as know they aren't to bassy they are more psycadellic.
-Benny Benassi (whos your daddy, sweet dreams, satisfaction are good)
-Fatboy slim (have some)
-Prodigy (have some)
-square pusher
-chemical brothers (don't have much)
-daft punk (don't like)
