I have heard of Heroes Del Silencio.
There used to be a Spanish-language rock station in this area (San Diego). They used to play English-language rock along with the Spanish-language for some time (that's how I discovered the station).
The radio station changed format (rap), and I never learned the names of many songs (or the names of the bands).
There are songs that I've tried looking up on the 'net but never found. I guess you can say those are my favorite.

I understand what you mean. Although my friends also listen to spanish rock like I do, they also listen to rock in english, I don't. I have to admit Mana is easily my favorite rock band, ha ha I'm listening to them as I write this. However, Pxndx is also an awesome band, ha ha now I'm listening to them. Cafe Tacvba is also cool.

Los Morton and Molotov blow those other ones (such as Caifanes, La Union, Mana, etc.) out of the water.
I also think Cafe Tacuba and Maldita Vencidad are pretty good.
As far as soft pop, I like Presuntos Implicados.
