I have a tune in my head that I'm trying to find the name of, you hear it a lot in cartoons, particularly when a character is weeping. I'm just not having any luck finding it. You might want to look into using a piece from the Schindler's List soundtrack.

Check out the "Meditation" from Jules Massenet"s opera " Thais". It is very cliche, yet still beautiful, and moving if you haven't been exposed to it too often. Should be able to find it on You Tube.
