Oh dear god i hope not. Thats their shtick. I'd feel empty listening to them without a reference to California in at least every other song. Perhaps Anthony will chance branching out and mentioning some cities within California? Imagine a reference to Los Angeles for instance. That would BLOW MY MIND

I hope so. They're a talented band, but they really over do it with the California songs... Personally, I'm sick of hearing about California.

Well the California songs are definitely recognized whether they are looked at as great or annoying and old. I would say that it's what makes RHCP who they are.

lol This is part of my problem w/ them. They've sounded kinda samey for a while now. I respect them for their longevity & musicianship (esp. Flea), but I think for ideas & shaking things up, they're running outta steam.
