There is a doo-wop song from the 50s or 60s that has a very similar melody (tune) to Dion's Runaround Sue...but I can't think of what it is. Any ideas?

I am a fan of Marilyn Mansons and I have noticed alot that when ever something bad goes on like the High school shooting that just happened friday, they blame Manson. They say the kids listen to manson and he talks about drugs and suicide and stuff.Does he talk about going and killing your class mates????NO!!!!!People really need to get a grip and leave the man alone. He is a singer with a freedom of speech. He just sings and people enjoy his words. Some of it is comforting to kids because it makes them feel like they aren't the only wierdo's out there.Just please leave the man alone.Religious freaks need to shut up and just read there little book that I personally thing it retarded!!The book has been changed and altered so many times but no one wants to believe it.GET OVER IT!!!!!Now do you agree with me on people needing to leave manson alone or not,and WHY!??

I'm trying to make a playlist of fun, loud, bombastic rock songs. I think most of the ones I've already picked out are probably classified as "arena rock," but several are just rock songs I thought fit with the playlist's general sound. Any suggestions about songs I should add?

Here are the songs I've added so far:
We Belong-Pat Benatar
In a Big Country-Big Country
Angel-Aerosmith
Any Way You Want It-Journey
Here I Go Again-Whitesnake
We Will Rock You-Queen
Tubthumping-Chumbawamba
We Built This City-Starship
Livin' On A Prayer-Bon Jovi
Pour Some Sugar On Me-Def Leppard
Life Is A Highway-Rascal Flatts
More Than A Feeling-Boston
Don't Stop Believing-Journey
It's My Life-Bon Jovi
Kyrie-Mr. Mister

Thanks everyone!

Sarah C regards them highly, so I looked at them on Youtube. They're like a trip from the past. Modern band with a classic sound. The singer isn't whiney, the lyrics make little sense (and aren't all "cut me and watch me bleed to death over your love" type of thing).

Does anyone else like them, and what would you recommend for a first album?

How many songs can you think of that have serious/sad lyrics but an upbeat tune? For an example, Dirty Blvd. by Lou Reed. If you just listen to the music, you'd never guess the lyrics are a bit depressing....
