I'm 15 and I'm considering studying opera with my singing teacher who is opera trained. What age should someone start singing opera? am I too late?

I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I'm starting to think about college so that I can effectively plan for the rest of my high school career, but I honestly have no idea where to start.

I'm extremely interested in classical (opera) singing; I have been taking lessons for a few years and have done a lot of shows with my local opera company (Opera Pacific). I am seriously considering a career in classical voice, but I'm still young: I'd like to keep other options open.

I also have very high academic standards, so basically my question is this: What are some good schools that combine academics and singing? Once I decide on a school, how should I go about deciding what to major in, etc? This whole process kind of intimidates me :)

This song mentions something about making love and says the same word a whole bunch of times.. I forgot the exact word but it sounded like something with an A.
It came out before CDs, because I used to have it on a cassette tape. On the same tape was Slide, Slide, Slippity Slide. There was another cool song on there but I forgot what it was called. I remember it sounded like the guy was saying something about a rhino.
(I know all of this sounds stupid, but I was only 5 or 6 when I last heard these songs.)

Let's create two imaginary guitarists.

One is very skilled at writing songs, but isn't too skilled as a guitarist. He can write great melodies and sometimes some very advanced pieces, but he can't necessarily play everything he writes.

The other is skilled as hell, able to play anything that's given to him, but he's unable to write anything good. He can improvise but not necessarily with a good melody.

Say you have a band and you're in need of a guitarist. Which guitarist would you choose? The songwriter or the virtuoso?

A song put out around 1933. Not a Jazz song, but it seems played around Jazz circles. It's a ballad. Anyone know any good female singers who sang this? Any good recordinds of it on CD's.

It's an older song that plays on the channel "Todays Hits and Yesterdays Favorites". It's a bit lengthy (At Least 4 minutes or longer), and it MAY be a Christmas song. (The last time I heard it was in December).
At first it doesn't sound much like Chistmas, but later on in the song they start playing these bell-like instruments along with the tune (They're not really bells ringing, but just musical instruments that sound kind of like bells).
At the end, it sounds like they're saying "Christmas Time Is Here Now", and something else, then "goes round and round", then it repeats, and just loops over and over again until the song fades off. Now, it MAY NOT be about Christmas at all, but that's what it sounds like. If you have ANY ideas at all of the name of this song, I'd be very thankful. :)

For Me, it's that horrible "back like that" that Ghost did with Ne-YO (NEYO!!)....what a way to ruin a (mostly) hardcore album, not only have a horrible, sappy pop song, (BUT WITH NEYO!!)..It made me so mad I almost didn't buy More Fish (but I did, and it was good)....I also hated OOchie Wally, but Nas had already gone pop before that, and the album sucked anyway, so it didn't bother me that much (I will forever be haunted by the fact that one of my favorite artists of all time, Ghostface Killah, The Ironman, Tony Starks, would let NEYO!! on his cd...(I'm so angry, i'm a blast supreme clientele)
