I mean he could see one time, is him being blind part of the songs appeal? Did anyone else get spooked by when you were a kid?

Well when I was 6 and heard it it was sung by ray charles but thanks for the correction fluid, it really helps me remember stuff more, even with the additude that makes the usual person not want to ask to begin with.

Louis Armstrong sang that song, not Ray Charles. Louis Armstrong was not blind.

Actually, Louis Armstrong is noted for singing "What a Wonderful World". Has Ray Charles covered it? But, it wouldn't make any difference if Ray had covered it, too, would it? Why should blindness stop anyone?

Stevie Wonder wrote "Isn't She Lovely", which celebrated his daughter's birth. Did he need to see her to write such a lilting, sweet song. He has composed and recorded many hit songs. Ronnie Milsap is also a noted singer/composer.

Beethoven composed brilliant works when he was deaf. Helen Keller has written books, and she's blind, deaf and mute!

Think about this, too: A lot of comedians and comic actors have been revealed to be unhappy people. Yet, somehow they find a funny side to things, even when it doesn't seem to lift their own spirits.

I suppose it means that limitations can be overcomed by many people although there are lots of others who probably doubt themselves or might hesitate to take the chances that the successful ones leapt at.

Darn! I can't get links to work! What is wrong?!

Blind people see things differently then we do, and I honestly believe they're better off.
People are ugly... stuff we see is ugly, and we're all obsessed with what things look like, how people look, fashion..... it's gross, really really gross.

I can imagine the blind see everything to be very beautiful...
