OH WOW, to narrow it down to one song for the entire decade is tough.
Amazing by: Aerosmith I suppose would have to be my top pick. It was a great arrangement and combined a symphony with hard rock to create one of the best ballads of all time. The Get a Grip album was great all around.

My favorite was rebound by sebadoh, BUT the BEST song, the anthem of the '90s, is Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.
