Why do people blame Manson?

I am a fan of Marilyn Mansons and I have noticed alot that when ever something bad goes on like the High school shooting that just happened friday,they blame Manson.They say the kids listen to manson and he talks about drugs and suicide and stuff.Does he talk about going and killing your class mates????NO!!!!!People really need to get a grip and leave the man alone.He is a singer with a freedom of speech.He just sings and people enjoy his words.Some of it is comforting to kids because it makes them feel like they aren't the only wierdo's out there.Just please leave the man alone.Religious freaks need to shut up and just read there little book that I personally thing it retarded!!The book has been changed and altered so many times but no one wants to believe it.GET OVER IT!!!!!Now do you agree with me on people needing to leave manson alone or not,and WHY!??

Thanks for your comments everyone.I also just saw that manson as well as me belive that the president is more influential don't you think?He's the president he's the one thats supossed to be making an impact on our lives and by him bombing Iraq is a big impact on a lot of children.

I agree with you completely. It's more or less a brainwash in the world. Well honestly, in mostly America....Its like 9/11, everyone hated Osama Bin Laden, but whenever they see someone that is the same religion or nationality as him, people think "Ugh! what a disgusting race, they should all die!" but the people have nothing to do with it, this country has way too much stereotyping! Everyone has their image, gays, ravers, "gangstas", monks, metalheads, emos everyone has an image, but that does not mean that just because their kid is now dressing up like a gang member, that it is 2pacs fault....humans were made individually, meaning each has their own aspirations, principles and beliefs. Its not like when you buy a Marilyn manson CD, he tells you to kill yourself, people kill themselves becasue they have a problem with their life that they believe death is the answer to it. Manson expresses his feelings in music...Thats what music is about, so people should get the ******* dildo out of their asses and start seeing reality, their son/daughter didn't die because of marilyn manson, they died because the parents were too ******* uptight to give them freedom, they treated them like **** and they thought they were doing it for their child's own good, which ultimately led to his or her self-destruction. So all parents that believe that an image is the cause of your sons or daughters death, maybe you should kill yourself too....

People blame Marilyn Manson because Donny Osmond is so much more effective at covering his tracks when he corrupts the world. Plus you know Shawn Cassidy has done some of that evil stuff, but he's too well-connected for the media to dare go after him.

It's not Manson's fault at all. It's all the drugs that they are screwed up on. People just blame anything against the bible now a' days.

I know he was initially blamed for inspiring the Columbine school shootings because it was thought the two young men were fans of his. It turned out that they couldn't stand his music.

i totally agree.
i'm not a fan of his music, but its not right to blame him for his own expressions.
people need to stop pointing the finger at him, and start putting it on themselves.
