Anything specific I should know? I'm a singer...but I don't have a PA or anything...so I'm slightly clueless here. Like...is there a specific kind to get? With a PA, do I still need an AMP and/or speakers? If so, what kind? ANY specific mic work better than others? As you can see...I need help. Oh, and I also need to know where/how to get as low a price possible w/out getting a piece of sh*t. Please help me?

this composition premiered in Paris in 1897. this work was inspired by a poem by a famous German writer. please identify this composition (it is fairly well known and was featured in a classic movie). And identify the composer. What is his birth-death dates, and the correct title of the composition (in both its original language and in English translation)? Also what is the source of inspiration for this piece of orchestral program music (hint: it is a comic poem by one of the most famous, if not the most famous, German writers).? And what is the name of the poem in which this musical was based? Have fun with this, cause I am lost

Dave Navarro appears to be thoroughly disgusted with the music industry, realizing the very soul of rock and roll has been completely taken over by pod people with a one-track urban pop state of mind.

He probably fully expected the winners and runners up of his hit "RockStar" reality program to be courted by the industry, and maybe the music scene would re-energize with a return to really good rock music. But no such thing happened. The talented musicians that series showcased are mostly back to playing bars and small clubs.

Sick of an industry that seems destined to self-mediocrity, he's switched his focus to making gritty porn, promising to deliver the same edginess that Jane's Addiction once brought to the music industry.

Navarro realizes that even the rock bands featured in magazines like "Revolver" are over-commercialized whispers of the truly great rock bands that once dominated the music industry.

Will rock music ever be truly cool again? Without an "urban" edge?

My grandparents 50th wedding anniversary is tomorrow and we'd like to make them a CD of what music was in the charts when they were married. So I'm looking for a list of the songs in the charts in Ireland/England in August 1957.

Please reply as soon as possible as I really don't have long to do this.

It's also on a new HBO commercial i think. It's playing in the background when they show mickey's mom's caravan on fire and hes trying to get in it. It's a techno song and theres a voice moaning something, it kinda sounds like "love you, love you, love you" over and over again. Thanks

Shut the **** up! I'm real sick of these pointless recurring questions. You wanna know why hip hop is dead? Because you keep on asking the same damn questions! Can't you think of anything else to talk about besides who killed it or who the best rapper is? Far as I can see, hip hop is alive and kickin. So many people complaining about how much the music has changed like it's a bad thing, but EVERYTHING changes over time! What, you thought you would live out the 80s or 90s for the rest of your life? Of course I respect those who keep the tradition alive and are still able to keep it fresh, but a lot of listeners need to open their eyes to different sounds. Hip hop is only dead if you think it is. If you're a true part of the hip hop culture, you would learn to love and embrace ALL of hip hop whether it be new or old or from the North, East, West, or South. Loosen up, you too tight.

And as far as who the best rapper is:

"Who's the best? Pac, Nas, and Big,
AIN'T NO BEST..."

Personally I think that the Animals are better than the Beatles and the Stones and I believe that those two are so overrated. I was just wondering what the rest of the world thought.

Eric Burdon and The Animals 4ever!

Or does it just smell funny, like Zappa said?

I want to know why it scares a lot of people... I get scared by repetitive tunes. I don't get specific tunes stuck in my head, just noises... Jazz helps to keep my brain on its toes. Who loves jazz fusion? =oD
