That depends on which era you are talking about and which kind of rock. Hard rock, soft rock, good ole Southern Rock etc. As for me give the the glory days of Bob Seger, CCR, The Eagles, ZZ Top, Nazareth, Billy Squier and such as those.

From the 70's (I'll just name one song for each band):

"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin

"Let It Be" by The Beatles

"Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac

"Roundabout" by Yes

"Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd

"All Right Now" by Free

"Imagine" by John Lennon

"Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd

"Paranoid" by Black Sabbath

"Highway Star" by Deep Purple

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen

"Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones

"Anarchy in the U.K." by the Sex Pistols

"London Calling" by The Clash

"Tiny Dancer" by Elton John

"Ziggy Stardust" by David Bowie

"Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by Simon & Garfunkel

"5:15" by The Who

"Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney/The Wings

"My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison

I may be missing stuff, but those are some good ones....
