I'm trying to make a playlist of amazing rock songs that are about unrequited love, heartbreak, or forbidden love.

songs sounding similar to alice cooper's "Poison" would be amazing (I've had that song stuck in my head for weeks)

I love 80's rock, oldies, more modern rock, metal, indie, pretty much anything you throw at me ^_^
Even techno would be good :)

I was browsing stations the other day and came across this song that could possibly be a Christian song as it was on Austin's Christian radio station 106.7. But I didn't hear any references to God, etc.

The lyrics were something like
Let the rain crash down on you
Stand up against the grain

Female vocalist. Very upbeat especially towards the end there is a semi-rock it out part with no words.

Name your absolute favorite song from the 80's New Wave band, The Cars - and state why it's your fav. Mine would be, "Go Away" from their final album "Door To Door" in 1986. This song has such a hauntingly beautiful melody with Ben on vocals yet not cheesy like, "Drive".

How is Kurt Cobain a legend? What has he done besides play music. I think the only good thing he has ever done was put the shotgun to his mouth. That the only reason everyone considers him a legend, because he took the easy way out. Ohhh, look at me I'm rich and famous, I get credit where credit ISN'T due.
