It's a tie between Slow Dawn from Machina II and Glass and the Ghost Children from Machina. Glass is the kind of song that grows, takes its time, evolves, and by the end is completely different from how it started. Plus it tells a great story about a single moment in time. And Slow Dawn is the perfect song: it's relatively simple but is absolutely great in its simplicity. It makes me feel completely insignificant whenever I listen to it.

"Stumbelien" off of Melancholy and the Infinate Sadness. It's simple, and real. The melody is awesome and I'm a big acoustic guy too. I admire the artistry of a person who can set down and create a mood, or who ( if only for a little while) with emotion can take somewhere else. You can't fake one guy with an acoustic; there's nothing to hide behind. The really good ones don't have to hide.

I can never pick just one. At the moment I'd have to say Stand Inside Your Love from Machina: Machines of God. It's such a captivating song and puts me in a trance every time I listen to it. That band is amazing.

today cause its got that kind of happy riff but its really depressed
and bullet with butterfly wings because its so dark and angry its like 'the world sucks' but its not emo at all- its their smells like teen spirit, but was never overplayed
and every other song they ever did because their awsome
cant wait for zeitgeist
