Great band. But I LOVE the stuff before they got big. The 1st 2 albums rock! Great American prog rock!
You ever hear tunes like "Journey from Mariabronn" or "Icarus"?

I agree Kansas was on the list of my mainstay bands that always found their way into my eight track yup I said eight track player when I was out partying on the weekends.

I love Kansas....but there are many other rock bands I love just as much or even more.

They were just okay. Too much redundancy. Besides the 70s brought out The Clash, Television, Sex Pistols, and Roxy Music.

Kansas is amazing and they're one of the only bands that can make me cry (Dust in the Wind acually made me cry...) but it's a band that generally goes unnoticed, I have no idea why.

Taylor M...AC/DC is an Australian band.
While I do like Kansas (a lot), they're not my favorite. To me, CCR is the best American rock band. I guess, like you said, Kansas is one of the best...

Nay sir. Nay. Kansas while good is not the best american Classic rock band. Hrm AC/DC is American right. or am i off my rocker these days... I dont know. All i know Kansas cant be the best classic rock american band.
