I can't recall the title or singer of a particular song. The song is about an astronaut going into space and then experiencing problems in his craft. I recall the astonaut and the craft are lost towards the end of the song.

It's not Major Tom by D. Bowie. I think the song was sung by a female vocalist, in a style perhaps similar to that of Karen Carpenter. Please answer if you have any ideas. Thank you

I put my ipod music library on shuffle and, no matter how embarrassing, I put down the first line of the first 10 songs that come up and see if people can guess what song it is and who it's by. The first person to get all ten right gets best answer!

1. estoy loca en amorada de ti. it seemed to be like te perfect thing for you

2. No... Don't just walk way, pretending everything's okay

3. 100 days have made me older, since the last time that i saw your pretty face

4. lights go out and i cant be saved, tides that i tried to swim against

5. hey... is this thing on? I saw him dancing there by the record machine

6. lucy lu, and my girl drew. cameron D and destiny.

7. c'mon c'mon. i feel like i've been locked up tight for a century of lonely nights

8. Psychic spies from China try to steal your mind's elation.

9. fumbling is confidence and wondering why the world is passing by.

10. what day is it? and it what month? this clock never seems so alive.

I am obssed with hardcore/metal music. My boyfriend listens to country...How can I bring him into my music slowly. I am currently listening to Bury You Dead. What bands should I start him out with? I'm thinking starting him out with like really mellow like Breaking Benjamin and The Used. I know they aren't Hardcore or Metal but I think anything else will be too much....I need help!!!

Meaning, you don't understand what the hell they're singing about because they sound like they're drunk or have a bunch of food in their mouthes or something...like Bob Dylan.

Some years ago, columnist Dave Barry asked the same question and was flooded with answers---the consensus was that MacArthur Park was the worst.. I'm curious to see what kind of response the same question will get now from the Yahoo community.

I'm just curious. I mainly listen to rock/punk/metal, but I like other stuff occasionally. I'm wondering how many of you always listen to one type of music and who is more "open" =)
