I am obssed with hardcore/metal music. My boyfriend listens to country...How can I bring him into my music slowly. I am currently listening to Bury You Dead. What bands should I start him out with? I'm thinking starting him out with like really mellow like Breaking Benjamin and The Used. I know they aren't Hardcore or Metal but I think anything else will be too much....I need help!!!

try starting with steve vai, i know he put out a collection of instrumentals a few years back. then go backwards. led zeppelin, black sabbath, and other classic metal groups. then go into the 80's hair metal. from hair metal jump to rob zombie and go from there.

Hardcore metallic for existence, i'm no longer possibly Into Hair-metallic....indexed under are some Bands i like.. ; Slayer (for sure) Cannibal Corpse Necrophagist toddlers Of Bodom gadget Of A Down (no longer possibly Hardcore yet nonetheless impressive) Terror Pantera Metallica (Thats some 'hardcoremetal' bands i like)

Good luck, I've been trying to convert my wife from country/pop to hard rock/metal for 35 years with no luck at all!

try "Rebel Meets Rebel" if he likes country he probably already knows of David Allen Coe.
