Some years ago, columnist Dave Barry asked the same question and was flooded with answers---the consensus was that MacArthur Park was the worst.. I'm curious to see what kind of response the same question will get now from the Yahoo community.

I realize that I'm dating myself with this answer but I absolutely can't listen to the song Young Girl by Jerry Vale. There's also a pretty recent rap song about poo poo. Yuck.

It doesn't get much worse than the Thong Song by Sisqo, although Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy comes in pretty close.

I haven't heard as many songs as you could imagine thats cause I am only 13, I haven't heard many old songs but the worst song in my time is "Lose Control" by Kevin Federline and he performed it like a piece of crap singing, I don't know why Britney married this loser, I am sure she will shine in her comeback .

The only one that comes to mind is Yummy,Yummy,Yummy by Ohio Express 1968 although the Monty Python version was amusing. Even in my giddy, teeny-bopper days that song embarrassed me.
