I'm just curious. I mainly listen to rock/punk/metal, but I like other stuff occasionally. I'm wondering how many of you always listen to one type of music and who is more "open" =)

I love music and listen to just about any genre from any time. Music is such a wonderful language. The world would be a poorer place without it so why deprive oneself of living life to the full by not enjoying all of it (music)?

Although I listen to mostly Hard Rock and Metal, I have a wide range of music I listen to. I like some pop, jazz, classical, classic R&B...I do hate rap, country, hip-hop, current R&B. Not a big fan of the blues...got enough problems in my own life to listen to someone elses.

I listen to most genres. I mainly listen to Rap closely followed by Reggae and then Indie. I also like Motown, Rock, Old School, Pop
I just like good music.

Mostly indie and rock, but i like a bit of everything really besides Opera and Country.
If you stick only to one genre you're missing out on loads of stuff and being a bit narrow minded.
That said, if what you like tends to fall into the same genre, hey, whatever, just enjoy it!

I'm trying to expand my horizons. I love the standards, rock/alternative, some latin, R&B, electronica, world, etc.
However, I've never been fond of metal, most rap, or country.
You know what's really fun? Listening to random samples on Itunes or some other music-download store. You can find some really good stuff you wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to!

I have an amazing collection of over 5000 Cd's and vinyl Albums and an unbelievable amount on my ITunes which I had to buy a second Hard Drive for...

I am a 'metal head' if you are going label me but listen to anything apart from U2 and Hard core dance music.
