If so, why? How do they compare with other acclaimed musical acts across history - Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Stravinsky, Coltrane, Ellington, etc.? Is it fair to make such comparisons?
If not, why? Who is the greatest rock band/artist ever? What criteria makes them as such?

I have a Lee Ann Womack CD I received for Christmas, 2005. I just recently opened it and played it for the first, and was surprised to find that it had an extra song after what I thought was the 12th and final selection. The song is not mentioned anywhere on the CD or in the literature that came with it. I'm not that much into recorded music, but still I have to wonder if this is something that they do on a regular basis or do I have some sort of fluke here? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
